Summary
After Jinx blew up the tower, killing a handful of counselors and wounding several others, she spent three days wandering the lanes.
She gave Silco the burial he would have wanted, tied up a few loose ends -- and then she went and turned herself in.
During those three days, Ekko got it in his head that maybe he should try again. Really save her this time. He saw that look in her eyes on the bridge right before the bomb went off, that glimpse of Powder that was so unmistakable it caused him to hesitate long enough for her to pull the pin out.
If Powder was still in there, then there had to be a chance.
Ekko could finally make this right.

Summary
Those who saw spirits often had trouble bending. Maybe that was why Powder couldn't hold a steady flame.
Jinx became what Powder wasn't: A fierce, fear-inspiring firebender. And yet, at the spirits' insistence, she still has to become something else.
Under the mask of the Blue Phoenix, enemies became friends, and her life grew more complicated than ever.
(In ATLA, Zuko wears his Blue Spirit mask and goes out to do secret stuff. In this fic, Jinx does the same thing and accidentally befriends the Firelights.)
This is largely a story about Powder/Jinx's growth. Timebomb takes a LONG time to kick in.
