Despite everything, he couldn't really do much. He loved Yeonjun greatly, even after all the suffering.

Summary
Choi Yeonjun is a vampire hunter-born to an old and distinguished Clan, well-regarded by virtue of the preternaturally talented hunters they’d produced over the centuries. Though allowed to bear the clan’s name, his father was disowned by the clan. And the clan itself regarded Yeonjun as a dishonored son.
A chance encounter which Choi Beomgyu, heir to the Yeon Choi Clan, flips Yeonjun’s reality so fast that he’s neck deep in clan business—politics, violence, and manipulation.
When the Clan Heads of the Yeon Choi ask him to formally protect Beomgyu, he can't say no-even if it will draw his clan's attention and ire.
There’s just something intoxicating about the vampire-literally. He can’t get enough of Beomgyu's scent, and the vampire can't get enough of his. But Beomgyu insists that he's never scented anything like Yeonjun before. And that shouldn’t be possible, Yeonjun is only human….He shouldn't be able to daze a vampire with his scent, but Beomgyu is falling hard, as hard as Yeonjun is. And it's creating something...some link through the blood.

Not only is he actually drop-dead gorgeous, Yeonjun notices how the sounds of his echoing footsteps have a rhythm, all of his actions are done flawlessly like they have so much thought put behind them, Yeonjun can't even count 5 flaws. With his new obession, Yeonjun chases after Beomgyu to figure out whats going on.
Maybe he got too attached.

“I know what I said,” Yeonjun said, his voice sounding slightly unsettling. Soobin couldn’t pinpoint why. “But the truth is, I’m actually just hungry. And you smell so fucking good.”
Soobin froze in place, his heart leaping to his throat. No. It couldn’t be…
He suddenly heard a piercing scream. He spun around just in time to see Yeonjun lunging at the girl, his face buried in her neck and blood splattered onto the forest floor.
Before he could stop himself, he was letting out a piercing scream. He felt like his whole world had come crashing down on him.
Yeonjun…his best friend and hyung…was a vampire.

Some background:
First, Choi Yeonjun is a third-year Dance major, close friend, and the object of his affections for the past two years (Soobin would interject, love at first sight, with disgust, though Beomgyu disagrees).
Second, this big fat crush he’s been harboring is preventing him from living his life to the fullest. College is supposed to be the time to explore, date and learn what you want in a relationship. He can’t do that when he’s only got eyes for one person.
Third, given the first two points, he’s come to the answer that he just needs to get over Choi Yeonjun.
The question is: how?
The answer: Sometimes, the best way to get over someone is to actually just date them. Or, in Beomgyu's hopeless case, ask them to help you practice dating. No, Beomgyu will not explain how that works.

Beomgyu is a young angel from heaven, not even graduated from his school of the pure. All he's known is heaven. Its perfection, the kindness of everyone around him, the only white clothes and blonde hair. Yet when Kai comes to him with a 'top secret' way of possibly going down to Earth, who is he to not try? He is a curious young angel after all!
What he didn't expect was to meet two humans who were so different from what he's ever known. They sinned left and right like it was nothing, wore so many colors and dyed their hair, were horribly messy as well. It was so unnatural that he couldn't help but be drawn towards them. Maybe these sinners weren't so bad.
