At present, they were all sitting in the back of the engine, on their way to a pile-up on the highway. Buck and Eddie were sitting together, like they always did - did they always sit so close? - and Buck was chatting away about worms, or sperm, or something else wriggly, Chimney wasn’t sure, because Eddie… Eddie was just staring. The look in his eyes was so warm and fond that a marshmallow would melt in them.
The neon sign got ten shades brighter. Chimney had to look away so as not to burn his retinas.
Someone tapped him on the knee. He jumped.
“You good, Chim?” asked Buck, an eyebrow raised.

“Peachy,” Chimney said. He was sweating out of every pore of skin he had.*
Chimney finds out that Eddie's in love with Buck, and tries to matchmake them so he doesn't have to keep the secret. He also goes a little mad in the process.
