Summary
He smells him before he sees him, a waft of cool water and green things, a scent he’d know half-dead after decades of smelling it, no matter the months since he was last around it.
“I want to hire you.”
There’s a cosmic irony to this somewhere along the line, a second meeting in a pub with him tucked away in a corner drinking alone and the bard sitting across from him with proprietary self-assurance.
The man across from him now, however, isn’t some bright-eyed teenager, more fanciful than sensible and with far too much self-confidence.
This man is older. No less beautiful but with something sharper around his edges. His hair is longer than Geralt’s ever seen it before, and his jacket is a deep red leather cut close to his body instead of a pastel bit of frippery meant to make him seem dainty. There’s an edge to this man now, a sort of hardness to his eyes.
(His breath catches, just for a moment, at the knowledge of his contribution at putting it there).
(post-mountain, geralt thinks he's never going to see jaskier again) (and then he's approached about a contract with the sandpiper)

Summary
Arthur is hit by a spell during a routine outing and at first nothing seems untoward. But strange dreams leave Merlin unable to ignore his inconvenient feelings about a certain royal prat. A threat against Morgana forces the two into close quarters, forcing various facts and opinions to the surface. It's difficult to ignore the obvious once personal defenses have been lowered.

Summary
Three years into King Arthur’s reign, magic users across Camelot are growing restless. Summary
Merlin should be happy, he wakes up every morning in the arms of the man he loves, he has plenty of friends, and job he doesn’t really hate as much as he says. But Merlin is also a coward, and a liar and the worst kind.
He shares his prince’s bed without telling him the truth. He continues to hide from those he loves and he’s starting to feel the weight of shouldering his destiny and his lies.
But when asking for some help doesn’t go the way he planned and an old face returns to Camelot, Merlin is suddenly faced with choices that threaten to destroy the careful facade he’s put up and leave him vulnerable for all to see.
