Summary
A multi-chapter fic set in France during WW2.
It is late summer 1939 when you arrive in Paris from New York to begin a year of adventure. A deal struck with your parents to see a little of the world before settling down and marrying your ‘childhood sweetheart’ Stanley. You soon find yourself with a spirited young English housemate, Eloise, enjoying all that the cosmopolitan European city has to offer…. Until a few months later when war is declared.
In this newly uncertain world, Eloise’s mother dispatches her brother to bring her home. Your plan is to board a ship back to America… but circumstances conspire to leave you possibly trapped in France with no way home. Eloise refuses to leave the country without you, even as you secretly grow attached to her beguiling brother, Benedict, who is everything Stanley is not.
There appears to be only one solution to your dilemma to ensure safe passage out of the country as invasion seems imminent… but it will mean your life is forever changed, even when the world is free again.

Summary
It's been decades since Alpha!Ghost had a rut. Something that's probably for the best, really. His want is as hideous as he is. As ugly as his goddamn mug. It's best kept tucked away, secured under lock and key.
But then he finds you. And you're all alone. Unclaimed, on the verge of heat. It triggers a voracious rut. Decades worth of want spilling out over you. You're it, he knows. Feels the certainty in that statement simmering in his hindbrain, in his essence. He'll have you—now, forever. Non-negotiable. Where you go, he will follow.
But you run from him. Stupid girl. Didn't anyone teach you not to run from a starving wolf?
or; getting hunted down and fucked stupid by Alpha!Ghost who coos in your ear about how he's waited his whole life for this. for you.

Summary
Contrary to what everyone in the ton claimed, marriage was an ugly game and love was a fool’s deception used as a cover to hide that truth.
You could see it very clearly, even when those around you could not.
In your opinion, anyone who believed in the existence of love was either naïve or pitiful and you were neither of those. If this was indeed a game, you were going to win it, regardless of how many feelings were hurt in the process.
People called it heartless. You called it smart.
Love was a plague on people’s hearts, a lie at best and a trap at worst, and you were determined not to let it catch you off guard ever. Even the night before your debut to the society, you laid in bed wide awake, repeating your plan in your head over and over again until the shadows of the night were chased away by the first rays of the sunlight.
But the ironic thing about that perfect plan of yours?
Life had a different one in the works.

Summary
You know you should address this: this need to be something groundbreaking to someone. To want someone to be this obsessed with you, no matter how sick that someone is. You know you would have gone to the police if your stalker was a sleazy, weak-wristed man from the pub. You would’ve moved houses already, changed your name and closed your social media accounts, quit everything if your stalker was small and ugly and weak.
But now that you know he’s relatively good-looking, does something dangerous and has a lot of money, and looks like he could fuck and fight half the city by himself, you’re not in that much of a hurry to go to the authorities.

Summary
It started out innocently enough.
Just a bit of one-sided and harmless flirting with Captain Price. The easy and good-natured familiarity was fostered by forced proximity and frequent late-night briefings over crappy coffee in styrofoam cups. He was older and more experienced with — pretty much everything from what you could tell. Price handled personnel and missions with ease, his confidence and air of easy authority magnetic, drawing you to him. You enjoyed his company, and, from the way he tolerated your antics most of the time, you were fairly sure he enjoyed yours, too.
Admittedly, you might have gotten a bit too familiar with him lately, but you couldn’t resist pushing his buttons just a little.
It was all fun and games — until Ghost began to notice, too.
