Summary
Awsten Knight is a loud-mouthed asshole who wears skirts, seemingly couldn't give a fuck, and can pack a goddamn punch.
Geoff Wigington is a fairly reserved punk kid who although has been through some shit, still manages to shut up and sit tight - unless of course, you're being an annoying prick.
The first time the two collide isn't the meet-cute that everyone in teen movies dream of, involving an extra-large slurpee, a pleated skirt and a giant bruise.
However, instead of the original choice to just ignore and push past it, they're forcibly re-acquainted through a class project that accounts for 20% of their grade. Maybe overtime they would mutually agree that one another isn't so bad - or maybe they wouldn't.

Gerard doesn't see it that way. Working as the loss prevention manager for the local Spend N Save dollar store, Gerard has seen his share of crazies and hoodlums. So when he catches Frank stealing a pair of headphones, he doesn't hesitate to confront him. But what was meant to be a routine procedure turned quickly into a dangerous game when Mrs. Iero enters the mix.
Faced with losing his job if he allows Frank to steal, but knowing Frank will suffer severely if Mrs. Iero sees him being confronted by the staff for his thefts, Gerard becomes caught between doing what's legal and what's right--and things only get harder when Frank gets closer and closer, begging Gerard not to tell the cops about his mother because she's not crazy, she's just sick.

The doors opened and the cold winter evening air hit Josh as he made his way onto the platform and down the metal stair case, each step echoing in the dark. Josh glanced at his watch, it had been a gift from Tyler and on the back were engraved the words 'You are the calm to my storm', the message made him smile but the time did not, 6.16pm.

Long term mental health issues can be tricky to manage within a relationship, but somehow Josh and Tyler are going against the odds to make it work. Love takes many different forms after all. Chocolate dipped strawberries on a surprise picnic wouldn’t be out of character, but in reality this romance holds far more sobbing episodes huddled on the floor than any grand gestures, and this story aims to show that even the deepest love can’t cure mental illness, no matter how hard we wish it might.
