Summary
Comfrey and Co found Zood much earlier in canon. So OG crew is intact. Zern had a Queen (unclear/undecided if she'll be the same as canon or not), there was a revolution against the queen which the wind riders helped with it. Since the wind riders found zood earlier, Cadswitch died later than in canon (we're going with he was poisoned by Longspot as a way to gain control over the treaties with zern post-revolution).
Longspot, wanting to get access to Zern earlier than the treaty process would allow, manipulates things to "temporarily" marry Maxwell off to someone high ranking in Zern. Maxwell agrees to honor his grandfather's legacy and will be exceptionally repressed.

Summary
There is one vermin, huge, hulking, next to Maxwell and as the pugilist drags himself back through the portal, badly injured, it moves.
Torse watches, horrified, too far away, as the vermin slams a battering ram sized fist into the body of the man he loves.
Maxwell is thrown backwards, into the fiery maw of the Calefactory Biangle. In which Maxwell is lost to the Calefactory Biangle, leaving Torse and the crew to try to find him and pick up the pieces of what's left.

Summary
Obi-Wan took a deep breath and did his best to press the anxiety he was feeling away. His hands were steady as he adjusted the settings of the communcation set-up of the small vessel he was currently piloting. He purposefully set the comm to audio only on his side. He hadn't been a padawan for long, but if there was one thing he'd learned during his missions with Master Jinn, it was that it was rare for anyone, especially politicians, to take a padawan seriously.
He assumed the same held true for the leader of an enemy empire.
