Ever since Strongtower Luxury Apartments had come under new management the building seemed to be falling apart, and no matter how many times Sklonda called the super, nobody came. Until Gorgug had dropped by for a study session, the Gukgaks had been handling most of it themselves—there was a bucket under the kitchen sink and Riz had been pretty consistently zapping the fridge with some kind of cold gadget that was meant for espionage—but it had only taken Gorgug half an hour to walk around the apartment and get stuff working again.
Gorgug swung his legs over the edge of the bed and braced himself to put them flat against the cold floor. “I’ll be there in fifteen minutes."
