The restoration of the beautiful Ithilien is off to a good start, and the small colony is proud to host the King and Queen of Gondor, both dear friends to their own sweet prince Legolas.

Summary
"He’s the finest specimen of a Longbeard I’ve seen in three centuries," Bifur grunted, signing the words with a look of genuine awe.
"It’s a problem, is what it is," Dwalin growled, crossing his massive arms as he watched the scene across the hall.
At least five Dwarves, sons and daughters of noble houses, were currently surrounding Gimli’s table. One was offering a finely wrought silver brooch; another was reciting a poem about the durability of granite; a third was trying to catch his eye with a display of masterfully tempered daggers.
By all accounts, Gimli should have been the proudest Dwarf in the Mountain. Instead, he looked as though he were chewing on a lemon.
....
........
..........
.....
there was a blur of movement,a whistle of wind and the distinct clack of a bow being drawn. The music died. The laughter cut out into a jagged silence.
Legolas was suddenly standing at Gimli’s side. His bow was up, the string pulled taut against his cheek, and the gleaming tip of a Mirkwood arrow was leveled directly at the center of the Dwarven lady’s forehead.

After the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D., James Barnes doesn’t flee to Europe. Instead, he rents a run-down, third-floor apartment in Queens, keeps his head down, and tries to figure out how to be human again.
He didn't account for apartment 3A.
Between May Parker’s relentless Tupperware diplomacy, fourteen-year-old Peter’s disastrous hardware projects, and Sam Wilson quietly closing the distance, Bucky finds an unexpected refuge in NYC. Summary
A year after the Winter Soldier failed his mission in DC, Bucky Barnes is doing his best to stay under the radar from both Hydra and Steve Rogers. His hope for a peaceful day-to-day life in limbo goes awry, however, when he meets Queens’ newest hero; a pure-hearted kid with a death wish and a ridiculous pair of red and blue pajamas.
The last thing Steve expects when he finally tracks Bucky down is that, not only has the man been living in Queens all this time, right under his nose, but also that, in the two years since they last saw each other, Bucky somehow acquired a kid.
Alternatively: How Peter Parker effectively fucks over Bucky Barnes, and also totally saves him.

Summary
Even after the events in March, Steve saw Eddie as an acquaintance at best. Someone he and the group looked after, but not exactly someone he’d call a friend. Then he catches Eddie with a belt around his neck. Forced by necessity to look after Eddie, Steve tries to better understand what could’ve driven the guy to such a low point. Sharing his own issues in an attempt to empathize with him. Turns out that level of openness and vulnerability can have a major effect on a person, in more ways than just mental health.

SPIDERMAN BRAND NEW DAY SPOILERS!! ( a little bit )
Bucky reached out and hesitantly helped steady the boy. “You good kid?”
Spiderman stared at him, eyes darting across Bucky's face at a rapid pace- a cold sweat had began to gather at the boy’s temples as he looked down at Bucky’s left arm which helped keep the boy upright before he frowned and swallowed hard.
“Mr Barnes?” Spiderman breathed out as Bucky awkwardly nodded.
“Sorry for breaking in-” He was cut off by the boys face crumpling in agony as he staggered against Bucky holding his wrist to his chest, nearly doubling over as he let out pained cries.
“Shit.”

Summary
When Draco Malfoy is (mistakenly) abducted by pirates on the eve of his wedding, he wants nothing more than to escape.
Not because of the constant threat of getting thrown overboard, or the stench of men stuck at sea for weeks on end, or the fact that he's getting sucked deeper and deeper into a wild treasure hunt he's not equipped for. No, the worst part about getting kidnapped, he's finding, is the longer he stays, the more difficult it is becoming to leave.
And he has one moody pirate captain with beautiful green eyes to blame for that.
