Jude sees it too.
The person behind those eyes calls himself Severance. He's smarter, calmer, more manipulative, and far more dangerous than the Sharpness they know. Worse, he seems to remember a past that Sharpness himself has completely forgotten.
And Severance already knows Jude. The problem?

They were indefinitely close now, only a mere foot away from each other. Sharp leaned down, craning his neck to meet Jude as he licked his lips. He felt Jude’s breath against his face, hushed and diminutive.
