His recovery was slow but consistent, mirroring his gradual emotional stabilization. Rocky’s former mate, Adrian, has chosen a new mate during Rocky’s absence. For pragmatic reasons Rocky and Ryland move in together. Ryland starts to teach and Rocky is a highly sought after Earth expert and space engineer. Slowly Eridian society interprets their life together as mating behavior. Rumors start.

As with most of my fics, I feel pretty good about the beginning but then didn't really know how to end it so this has been sitting in my drafts for weeks on end and I did not really proofread the last maybe a thousand words but here it is finally!!!!!!!!
