Summary
For two weeks, Dean’s wrists have itched, along with various other parts of his body. Namely, two eerily similar spots behind his ears and just behind his ankles, and a particularly strange spot along his spine. What he finds with Sam and Castiel's assistance, though, defies every belief he ever had about himself, and about Angels—by some miracle, he has Grace, and with Grace comes wings in all forms.
And with wings, comes the realization he wasn't ready to ever admit—that he's in love with Castiel, and has been for longer than he can remember.

Summary
At the tail end of a hunt on Christmas Eve, Sam hatches a brilliant idea. Said idea takes Dean blissfully away from Homestead, Florida to the uninhabited island of Marquesas Key off the coast of Florida, all under the guise of finding a god. Only upon their arrival, they're not met with a human face, but rather, the large muzzles of two Newfoundlands instead.
Because Marquesas Key isn't home to just any God. Marquesas Key is home to Castiel, the God of pets, and over the centuries, Castiel has inherited a problem--at any given point in the year, strangers leave their ailing animals on the island, believing that Castiel would take care of them in the afterlife.
Dean and Sam are the first humans Castiel has unwillingly interacted with in decades, not counting the Christmas banquets in Key West centered around feeding the community. And the moment Dean sets foot on Castiel's porch, Dean is utterly lost in this Jimmy Buffett reject that breathes new life into everything he touches. One thing he knows for sure, Dean will never forget this Christmas.

Summary
Dean and Castiel hadn’t known each other until the Earth fell apart. Until California fell into the ocean, the volcanoes took out Washington - everyone fled towards the Midwest to weather the earthquakes. Until the ozone was so fucked that daring to be outside without head-to-toe coverage would instantly bubble your flesh into second-degree burns.
It wasn’t simple climate change nor the burst pipelines and gas mains contaminating their water, the ice caps ice cubes. No, mother nature wasn’t fucking around anymore: she slammed down the self-destruct button.
Cas and Dean hadn’t even liked each other until they realized their broken pieces fit perfectly in a broken world. They were damaged beyond repair, but the other filled in those gaps.
In the real world, they never would have made sense: Dean had been an FBI agent, he’d been armed with intel before everything came crashing down. Castiel was a a hired bodyguard for those with enough cash, who weren’t afraid to get their hands dirty.
That was all in another life that went up in smoke.
And right now, Cas was currently pinning him against a wall with his hand down Dean's pants. They had to make the most of the end, you know?

Summary

Problem is, Dean isn't interested in what the members of his pack have to offer; and that means looking elsewhere.

Summary
A Soulless Sam traps and attacks Castiel--Dean finds out.
This story is coda until it isn't, because I realized I wanted the boys to have a happy ending. It follows season six plot/timeline for several chapters and incorporates quotes from actual episodes. Rape, rape aftermath, and recovery are explored. Eventual smut and even some fluffiness.
Without a soul, Sam could see everything a little bit more clearly. Feelings no longer distracted him from goals. He was free to pursue anything without shame, guilt, or hesitation. He turned an analytical eye to all that lay before him, calmly calculating the movements and reactions of those around him to stay ahead of their thoughts and actions. He was always playing a role, acting through a scene, he had been for months and he was getting very good at it.

Summary
Cas isn't stupid, as evidenced by the shiny new PhD hanging on his wall. He'd known there were potential pitfalls in getting involved with someone seven years his junior, not quite old enough to drink even, and, notably, his student. But when Dean Winchester sets his sights on you, it turns out you don't have a chance.
Not that Cas is complaining. Aside from being achingly gorgeous, Dean's funny and kind, with a razor-sharp intelligence behind his self-deprecating jokes, and is one of the most selfless people Cas has ever known.
He is also, on occasion, incredibly annoying.
