Summary
“You surf?” the boy asks, also standing up, walking towards Jay.
“Yes,” Jay responds curtly as he picks up his board.
“Wait!” Jay turns around slowly, slightly peeved, but grows even more irritated as he acknowledges once again just how cute this guy is. Jay can’t believe someone so beautiful can be so exasperating. “Make sure you check in the next few weeks. They’ll probably hatch soon.”
Despite his kindness, and cuteness, Jay can’t help but feel like this boy is trouble. Jay didn’t do much research on the town before traveling here — has no idea how big or small it really is — but based on the twelve hours he’s been here, Jay has an inkling that everyone seems to know each other. And with that, Jay also has an inkling that he’s going to definitely see this boy again.
When elite surfer Jay Park is invited to train with a world-famous Olympian, he's determined to rebuild his confidence and skill, especially after coming off a big loss. He leaves everything he once knew in Malibu to train on the Atlantic coast and find his spark again — no excuses, no distractions.
Only thing is, there's one problem: he's falling for his coach's son.

Summary
Jake drops the paper on Jay. "Read it."
After a few seconds of staring at each other on both of their parts, Jay reads it.
Then he puts it aside. "It's stupid."
"No it's not."
"It is. It's really stupid."
"But you'll follow it?"
According to the contract, neighbors don't kiss, don't intrude on each other's lawns, and don't have feelings. Interpretations can but shouldn't vary.
Jay's going to stay far, far away from him now.
(Jake's only a little bit in love with him.)

Slowly, deliberately, he leaned in and pressed a short, soft kiss to his knee, yielding "woah"s from the audience. Then he patted it, daring Jay with his gaze to lose his barely-held-together poker face.
Jay and Jake are very very good friends.

Jay opened his mouth, but what will he say? call out his friend and say hey I’m having homosexual thoughts and downright existential crisis thinking about you in a light I shouldn't but I can't help it because I literally can't and trust me I don't want to either and it feels wrong, demeaning to both of us, like we're bros but again bro doesn't swipe his finger down his bro’s lips in unintentionally sensual manner in a fucking tiktok sending the other bro in what now seems like inescapable but tempting hell hole.

Summary
Sunghoon had been trying to get a hold of Jay since he landed in Milan, but the guy seemed to suddenly be allergic to texting back. So he had to get a little creative. He didn't know it would end up like THIS.
-
Jay did not have a problem. There was no problem. He was not stressed, or worried. Sunghoon was a grown man who had done solo schedules before. He would not bombard him with texts when he was getting to experience the thing he had dreamt about his whole childhood. In fact, Jay was going to spend less time on his phone, practically NO time on his phone. He would not text Sunghoon once because Jay did NOT have separation anxiety, thank you very much.
...but did he have to send THAT?

God. This guy. His best friend. The only person who can calm him down with a mere nudge.
Jake would marry him if he could.
Not like- in a weird way. Just in a best friend way.
Like being close. Forever. With joint Spotify playlists and matching pyjamas and their dogs.
Okay, and maybe a shared bed.
But in a completely platonic way. Duh.
or
Jake and Sunghoon end up somewhere a little more than best friends and a little less than lovers.

Summary
It was a never-ending cycle—taunts disguised as conversation, glances that lingered a beat too long, an unspoken challenge in every interaction. They annoyed each other on purpose. They sought one another out just to complain.
They hated each other. They said it often enough, and other people started to say it too.
Still, for some reason, when the day was over and the lights were lower and there were no other eyes on them, something always snapped.
-or-
Lee Heeseung and Park Sunghoon have hated each other since they met at a shared lecture. Or atleast, that's what they believe. What happens when the lines between enemies-with-benefits and lovers blur?

“What was that for?” Jay asks quietly. Another secret of the universe.
The noise outside washes over Heeseung again. He can see the staff rushing in and knows they have only seconds before this moment runs out. Sunghoon’s loud singing bursts their small bubble, Jake’s resounding complaint filling up the rest of the space, even louder.
“For good luck,” Heeseung replies with a smile, watching Jay’s lips stretch into a matching one.

Summary
"You smell weird," Riki says, looking back down at the counter, completely forgetting proper greetings. Forgetting everything, really. Because even though the scent is so skewed, it's making Riki forget where to put his fingers as he cuts more melon away from the rind.
"Hello, to you, too." At least Heeseung has some humor in his voice. Maybe this conversation won't be so fucked.
If Heeseung were literally a watermelon instead of an alpha, he'd be the sweetest one Riki's ever had, but now Riki's spitting out the seeds and throwing tantrums over barbeque and math assignments like it'll make him feel any better about his body's chosen mate.

Summary
Listen. Jake really did like going out with Jay and Sunghoon. He was very happy that he debuted in a group with people who were all around his age, and that he had not one but two members who were his age. He was really very lucky to have two best friends in their group that really did feel like a family.
But he also knew that Sunghoon and Jay were… special to each other in a way that neither of them ever seemed to want to address ever in the five years he had known them.
Much to his dismay and frustration.

“Spin the bottle,” Sunoo says. He sits up, nearly knocking his head on Jaeyun’s chin, and downs the rest of his drink. “We should play spin the bottle. Like at our concerts.”
[A game of spin the bottle uncovers first loves, last loves, old histories, and might just take Jongseong’s sanity with it.]

Summary
Jay was handsome, funny, talented, kind, hard working and could be smooth when he wanted to be. He deserved a nice girl, and he seemed to have sort of found one in Jane.
The way he talked about her certainly made it seem that way.
But jealousy was a disease, and Sunghoon was suffering from a terminal case.
