“I wish I’d never been born,” he muttered, anguish coloring his voice as he fought back tears. Everyone in his life would be better off if they’d never met him, if he’d never had a chance to hurt them.
“Okay,” a somewhat familiar voice responded, and the spines on Blitz’s back lifted instantly, tail lashing warily behind him as he looked up at the sound. Only to see one of the fucking cherubs in front of him, doing his best to hide his glow, but undeniably standing right there, halo and everything. “You’ve never been born.”
OR
After a truly terrible day, Blitz wishes he’d never been born. Collin overhears and, in an attempt to both teach the demon a lesson and get back into heaven at the same time, shows Blitz what the world would be like if he had never been in it, and ends up showing him how much worse off his friends and family would be without him.

“Listeners, I can’t stand it any longer. I have the most exciting news and I just can’t hold it in anymore. Carlos, my beautiful, perfect husband, I hope you’re listening, because this announcement is mostly for you. As some of you might be aware, I experience a cycle every six years and while that would usually be an embarrassment to admit, this time it brings me nothing but joy. After a visit to the Night Vale General Hospital this morning, I discovered that I’m carrying six eggs, all of them occupied. That’s right listeners, I’m pregnant!”
