Vessel's fingers traced two small, distinct puncture wounds, his touch gentle, almost reverent. Before Ivy’s very eyes, they closed over, skin knitting together, leaving no trace but for the slight stain of the blood on his pale skin. He lifted his head and two fangs descended from that perfect line of white teeth.
Then, it stuck him. A moment of panic, of sheer, bone-cracking terror. His breath hitched, his brain struggling to process the monster who had opened his flesh and fed from his blood. He felt hot tears fill his eyes, yet his body was unable to move.
Vessel’s eyes softened as he took in Ivy’s trembling lips, reddened from his own teeth. “Oh, my pet, none of that,” he murmured, gently pulling Ivy’s lip away from his teeth. “Your turn is coming. And soon. I’m finding it increasingly difficult to let you out of my sight."

Despite psychologists and animal preservationists doing all they can to protect these beautiful, intelligent and rare creatures whom partly resemble humans, they're still heavily hunted for their unique pelts of feathers and fur. So when alpha-stag Hannibal is presented the ultimatum: to accept the aid of the humans or accept his fate, can he let go of the pain of the past? Or struggle along on his own against all odds?
He can only hope he has made the right choice.

Summary
After the Games, Gi-hun is supposed to put himself back together—one therapy session at a time. He never expected his new therapist, Oh Young-il, to notice everything, to see through the shame and hunger he’s tried to hide.
Young-il is patient, kind, a little too invested, and there’s something else lurking behind his eyes, something Gi-hun almost recognizes. They’re supposed to keep their distance. Instead, they keep crossing lines neither of them can pretend to see anymore.
In the end, it’s hard to tell who’s saving who, or if either of them wants to be saved at all.

"I, um—" Gi-hun cleared his throat, attempting what In-ho assumed was meant to be a seductive pose but coming across more like someone with a cramp. "I have come to... claim your soul? No, that's not right. To feast upon your... desires?"
In-ho stared, whiskey forgotten, heart hammering against his ribs.
After nine months of wallowing in his depression, In-ho was visited by the man who had been haunting his intimate dreams as much as his nightmares: Gi-hun—but he wasn’t the same. That doesn't matter, however, because Gi-hun came back to him and In-ho will never let him go again.

The Frontman lifted a hand to unfasten his mask. Gi-hun’s breath hitched in his throat, watching the way the man almost seemed...hesitant, to fully remove it.
He did. Dark eyes met Gi-hun’s, eyes that were all too familiar.
Eyes that belonged to a dead man.
Gi-hun eyes bulged in horror, as the other man continued to quietly look back at him.
“Mr. Seong Gi-hun…”
No. No—not that voice. It wasn’t, there was no way.
Gi-hun had heard him die. He’d heard him die. Young-il was dead--
“I’m sorry about Jung-bae.”
That was all it took to snap Gi-hun out of his stupor.
