Have you, um, seen Touma? He left his phone and bag at the courts before he ran off and—and he never came home. I’m sure you’re celebrating your big win right now, but... call me once you get this message. Bye.”
The silence is different after that. There’s something heavy in the air and something heavy in his chest and something heavy in his hand. The weight of the knife tears at his shoulder.
