Summary
Settled on his haunches, Andrew reaches between his legs, eyes fluttering shut. Lube drips down his knuckles and onto the hardwood but Andrew doesn’t react. Neil can tell the moment Andrew touches himself because his shoulders tense and his eyes screw harder shut, throat bobbing with a swallow—Neil has seen less expression from him while getting body slammed into goals.
A razor’s edge of distress contours Andrew’s face. One more twitch in the wrong direction would have Neil calling it off—
“Andrew,” he groans, grinding into the pillow for an excuse to say it. Andrew opens his eyes and locks gazes with him; the tension in his shoulders eases. Perfect. “I know you hate when I point out nice things you do—but I don’t know how to stop thinking about it.”

He’s sitting on the floor in front of Andrew’s leather studio couch and using the cushions as a backrest, surrounded by small stacks of flashcards. Now, among those stacks lies children’s markers, one of every color.
“Once upon a time,” Andrew begins, “you said a map of my body would be useful, to see where you were allowed to touch.”
“And this circles back to the Crayola…”
Andrew flings the orange marker back at Neil, who dodges. “Map. Should you want to act on that idea, use those.”
