After the many, many weeks that Zeke has spent admiring Levi in the forest, he accepts an invitation to the Captain's tent in the dead of night. At first, Zeke thinks he's there to argue. Soon enough, he realizes that Levi wants much more than verbal sparring.

Summary
Post-ACWNR, Levi is having trouble following orders. Most of the time, he comes and goes when he please, and on the rare occasion where he does choose to be obedient, it's never without a snide comment or sass. Since he's Erwin's responsibility, Erwin takes it upon himself to teach Levi how he should behave.
In the process, he comes to realize that Levi might have lied on his initial paperwork. He isn't an Alpha at all---quite the opposite. Luckily, that gives Erwin some wonderful leverage to work with.

Summary
After Erwin's death at Shiganshina, Levi is lost. He feels listless, as though the hole torn in his Commander's side was also shot through his own. Unable to focus or complete his work within the regular scenery of the Corps barracks, especially around places that should house Erwin, Levi is sent away. Hange gives him a job in an attempt to ground him: guard the War Chief in the great forest until they understand exactly what it is he wants.
This should be an easy order for Levi to fulfill. He has never failed Erwin before, and he doesn't plan to fail him now. As soon as Hange gives the order, Levi plans to strike Zeke Yeager down where he stands. The thought of having Zeke's blood on his hands makes Levi's stomach turn, but he knows it's only nerves. Or madness. One or the other, or both.
As it turns out, though, Levi has quite a bit more in common with Zeke than he thought. And it doesn't seem like he was lying when he talked about Ackerman bonding. At least, that's one excuse that makes some modicum of sense...

"I'll always come back to you," Levi murmured, sinking onto his ancient hospital mattress. "Just for you. Only for you."
Erwin bit his tongue. All the things he could have done, if he'd only known Levi for a few years more, swirled together in a cacophonous cloud of guilt inside his head. He wanted to apologize. He wanted to beg Levi not to leave. He wanted to say everything, right now, so that Levi would have heard him when the end finally came.
Instead, Erwin caressed the shell of his ear, feeling blooming peachfuzz brush against his shaking fingertips. He leaned down to kiss Levi's forehead, ghosting his lips against pale and freezing skin.
"Only for you," he echoed, his voice a mere tremor. "Only for you."

After being diagnosed with a terminal illness, Levi comes back to his hometown to be with his mother. There, he meets Erwin Smith, a paramedic who assists him on his way to the local hospital. Despite everything, the pair only grow closer as the end draws near.

Summary
Commander Erwin Smith needs to claim an Omega. They're a status symbol among Mitras nobles, and it's a mark of great pride to attend events with a pretty, subservient Omega at one's side. The issue, however, is that Erwin is not interested in owning an already well-trained Omega.

Summary
Erwin Smith, a prolific researcher and writer, embarks on a cultural tour of all fifty states. After months of networking and interviewing in far more populated areas, he finds himself in rural Louisiana. Once there, his journey takes an unexpected detour: his rental car gets stuck in the mud.
After a series of unfortunate events leaves his car broken beyond use, he's forced to stay in a local family's mysterious—and haunted—stilt cabin. Lucky for Erwin, his situation is not all bad. Amidst the backdrop of the Louisiana wilderness, he feels a pull that transcends time towards one specific local. Distant memories jumble in the back of his mind, some that he's certain don't even belong to him. He's drawn to Levi, seeking answers through their strange connection. It feels, almost, like he's forgotten something—something, or someone, of great importance.
At least he'll have plenty of time to think it over.

In the middle of an expedition beyond the walls, Levi enters the most intense heat of his life. There are no warning signs, and he's been on suppressants for years. Now he's at risk of death if he's left to his own devices, caught defenseless against his feverish delirium. He's not well enough to be moved, but he's also far too sick to be alone.
