Izuku looks contemplative for a moment, and then his face lights up, which means he’s got an idea. He turns to the entire common room and spreads his arms out wide, beaming and standing on the coffee table for good measure.
“Oh, fuck no,” Bakugou groans, his face turning a little red. Denki grins; he loves it when people embarrass Bakugou. It’s his one and only reason to live.
“Everyone!” Izuku yells, “if I may have your attention!”

Contrary to popular opinion, Bakugou Katsuki does care about people. He just has weird ways of showing it.
And his friends? Well, they care about him right back. And now that Deku's finally his friend again? He's gonna show it, too.

Jirou rolls her neck to the side to look at her. “Nah, I’m not joking,” she says, eyes fixating on her dark eyelashes. “It was hot, though.”
Momo stares at her. "Hot," she repeats, face perfectly blank.
Or: the one in which Jirou offhandedly tells Yaoyorozu that it's hot when she brings out her signature cannon when she fights villains, and Yaoyorozu continues to bring the cannon out onto the field after she says this.

Shouto huffs a small laugh, and then he smiles. Quiet falls into the night, and Katsuki almost thinks Shouto thought he was joking. But after several minutes, he speaks again.
“Sure, Major Dick,” Shouto says, “Let’s be roommates.”

Shouto's quiet for a while. He pushes around some pork with too much fat. "But you're worthit."
OR: Shouto runs the largest Ground Zero stan account on twitter. Katsuki is unaware of this.

So far, Katsuki has found that he and Todoroki’s meetings tend to be quite uneventful and plain, which is strange - when he was younger Katsuki had envisioned time travelling to be much more thrilling. Kaminari in particular is often disappointed about the utter lack of adventures Katsuki’s detours contain.
"If I was a time traveler..." he'd say, trailing off.
“Well good thing you aren’t. You’d probably bring back the dinosaurs or something.” Katsuki would reply. Then,
“Why are you saying that like it’s a bad thing?”
Or: Bakugou Katsuki comes from a line of time travelers. Todoroki Shouto comes from a line of immortals. They meet and the rest is history.
...Or not. Time is pretty shit.

“My father planned a family dinner tomorrow. Midoriya, I’d appreciate it if you came with me. As my date.” Shouto hesitated, then remembered to add, “please.”
The room instantly silenced, and Shouto sinkingly realized that he was now the sole focus of the room’s attention. Kaminari nervously giggled. Beside him, Kirishima stared, mouth open. Ashido’s wide eyes flickered excitedly between Shouto, Midoriya, and strangely, Bakugou. And Bakugou? Bakugou looked as if someone had slapped him. He blinked suddenly, pale brows drawing together in a deep furrow.
“Wh-wh-what?!” Midoriya stuttered, and because Shouto was still looking in Bakugou’s direction, he saw when Bakugou’s hand clenched, snapping the pencil he’d been holding in two.
“Whaaa!” Hakagure said. “Todoroki likes Midoriya?!” She sounded equal parts scandalized and delighted.
Shouto’s spine snapped straight, because of course he’d messed this up. Turning swiftly to Midoriya, Shouto hurried to correct the confusion. “Sorry. I wasn’t clear. I would like you to come to dinner as my pretend date."
Or, the one where Shouto fake dates each of his classmates and Bakugou gets progressively more jealous.
