Summary
Mark tucks his phone in the back pocket of his jeans, then, instead of knocking, goes right for the doorknob, curling his fingers around the cold brass and twisting. It’s actually locked. Somehow, he hadn’t been expecting that. He pauses, struggling to figure out what the next step should be, but then through the wood there’s a gruff voice, the same one that scrapes something in his gut every time he hears it in his dreams. It’s a thousand times worse in person.
“What do you want?”
Fury flares in Mark, hot and salient like that last fight had just taken place yesterday, not ten months ago. “I want to know what the fuck you’re doing here, Damien.”
There’s a good ten seconds of silence, and then, much softer, imbued with some emotion that Mark can’t make out past the pounding in his ears: “Mark?”
“Open the goddamn door.”

“Our line sustained a lot of damage when - with everything that happened yesterday.” Adam traces the line that flows perpendicular across the state, extending it westward. “It set off a kind of chain reaction that’s made it leaky in a lot more places than just Henrietta. If we want the power of the line back, I’m going to have to travel to fix it.”
The power of the line back. Blue looks up at Adam sharply, hope swelling in her chest. “You mean - Noah? We can get Noah back?”
“That’s the plan,” Gansey says, resting his hand lightly over her fingers, which are still clutching his shoulder. The fervent light filling his eyes makes sense to her now. This is Gansey without Glendower. This is Gansey with a new, even more desperate quest.Or; Post TRK, the Raven Gang goes on a Feels Trip. I mean a Road Trip. Sure.

Summary
Henry’s fingers spread and wiggle in a ‘ta-da’ sort of motion, dissolving the imaginary boxes as if he’s done a magic trick. Gansey thinks perhaps he has, as the proverbial lightbulb flickers to life above his own head. “Oh,” he says, and nods a little. “Are you saying you’re – would you call it transgender?”

The flickers in the corners of his eyes were getting more tangible, and he gripped his fingers harder into the limestone of the bridge’s wall. Whispers seemed to shiver up from the river; the usual night sounds of frogs and insects eclipsed by them. His senses were like a television set being tuned – snippets of sound and light made meaningless by interrupted frequencies. What is happening to me?
What if the distortions of reality that Adam was experiencing in TDT weren’t because of Cabeswater, but something much more sinister? AU that takes off about a third of the way through TDT.

Five minutes and seven and a half hairpin turns are all that separate him from the only place his heart has ever beat freely.
Everything about him feels wrong outside of it.

Ronan's heart constricts painfully. He's got the urge to pull Gansey upright and shake him until he snaps out of this, and he tries to steady himself. He pulls Gansey's head forward until his forehead is resting heavily against Ronan's hip, and squeezes the back of Gansey's neck again, massaging the tense muscles with broad sweeps of his thumb. His other hand runs over Gansey's scalp, the same way he brushes his hand over Chainsaw's feathers. As always, words get caught in his throat without making it to his lips, and he tries to transmit them in the movements of his hands. I've got you. You’re alright.

Ronan reminded himself, viciously, that he interacted with a real ghost every day of his life. But Noah’s moments of otherworldly strangeness had nothing on this specter’s air of sheer sinister deadness.Adam took a step forward next to him, and Ronan’s hand shot out, fingers gripping Adam’s sleeve. Being cornered like this made Ronan feel the same way he’d felt trying to get out of the dank cellar – claustrophobic and scared and angry. “Parrish,” he hissed, trying to pull Adam back. The girl was a good 20 feet away, but it still felt too close, and being any closer seemed like a decidedly bad idea.

Summary
This is not the Ronan that Gansey has come to know. This is something else entirely: the smell of smoke that leads to the realization that the house is burning. The eerie green light in the sky just before the tornado siren. It makes him uncomfortable in a way he can’t put words to.
Gansey and Ronan's friendship is still new and sometimes hard to navigate. And Declan is a dick.
