Summary
It really could have just been a dream, a hallucination fever-bright. Or it could have been any number of the odd things that happen in the city every hour, every day. A sign that life is truly beginning; that the future is opening up for him, at last. At the very least, it should make for a good story, someday. Jimin ducks his head down again, bites back a smile only for himself, and settles in to wait.
Sixteen hours later a stranger in an alleyway places a hand on his cheek, the touch almost tender; leans in close to whisper a curse into his ear, and just like that, his future ends.

“So far,” Taehyung said with a nod. He wanted to stop talking and just move on, but his mouth didn’t seem to know that, because he said, ”We’ll see how long that lasts.”
Jimin scooted to the edge of his chair, reaching out one hand to rest it gently on Taehyung’s knee. “Tae, you know… you know you’re… I mean, I want you to be happy and you deserve someone who is… like you, I guess.”
“Well, Seokjin is definitely not like me. But he lets me be me, so that’s something. More than anyone else I’ve found. We’re getting there. This weekend actually.”Series
