“Alastor! Lovely to see ya. And, oh, is this Lucifer Morningstar?” The woman Lucifer assumes is Rosie dips into a curtesy. “Pleasure to meet ya, Your Highness!” Lucifer shifts awkwardly on his feet.
“Ah, uh, Lucifer is just fine.” He clears his throat. “We’re, uh, here to pick up some clothes that my daughter ordered!”
“Oh, yes, of course! Dear Charlie, such a sweet girl, she is! Give me a moment and I’ll fetch them for ya.” Rosie disappears into the back room, leaving Lucifer with Alastor towards the front of the shop.

“Close your mouth, Lucifer, you’re going to catch flies.” The sound of his voice kickstarts Lucifer’s brain, and he sputters and clears his throat awkwardly.
“Right! Uh, right. Yeah. Sorry.” He’s floundering, hands waving aimlessly. “I just- you look so- so stunning.”
“Thank you, Sire. You…” He pauses, glancing off to the side. “Clean up nicely.” Is all he manages, and hey! Lucifer will take what he can get! The Radio Demon doesn't dole out compliments very often, after all.

There’s a moment of hesitation; some unnamed emotion filling Alastor’s expression as he glances between Lucifer and the waiting piano. He seems almost conflicted.
Until he’s not.
With calculated steps, he slides into position on the piano bench.

“No, I know. I want it to be binding. I want everything. Your heart, your body, your soul. I want all of it to be mine and mine alone. And in return, you will have everything of mine. Forever.”

This was yet another one of their arguments, it was standard for them to end up arguing like this. Charlie has compared them to a pair of unruly kids, before. When she was scolding them for fighting and breaking the dining room table. Again.
“You guys are like children!” She had scolded, “I can’t leave you two alone for five minutes!”
In this moment, Lucifer kind of sees what she meant.
