Read this if you love slow stories, if you want to escape to another place. Read this if you want to learn about every hair on Kanato's body, sink into the deepest pits of his soul. Read it if you're tired of one dimensional portrayals. The Kanato in this story is mentally ill and I won't skim around it. It's the whole point. He is a broken person. And my main character is someone who loves him anyway. Read this if you want to learn why, if you like to imagine how it would be to get close to him. If you want to experience in excruciating detail what it means to be with him. Read if you want to know what needs to happen to make him better. To make him worse. But above all: read to learn what it will do to you.
Nobody in this story is mentally well. They all struggle. But they are people like you and me. They are parts of me I want to show you.
I suspect most fans of Diabolik Lovers carry some sort of pain within that the franchise's tropes can address and somehow make us feel better about. I write to cope and to dream. This is an erotic horror story. No shame, only honesty.
There's a certain truth at the center of the universe... or is there? For you this will be the question that decides your fate. -

For archiving purposes and accessibility as well as a mad curiosity about how many people actually read my stuff, I'm collecting my Diabolik Lovers meta, analysis and headcanons posts here.
