Summary
After his breakup with Nancy, Steve Harrington keeps it a secret that he hasn’t made an effort to meet his soulmate. When he accidentally wakes up next to them a few days after his 18th birthday, he’s surprised to find that it’s not only another guy, but somebody else in Hawkins. Between losing all his old friends, learning how not to be an asshole, and balancing his newfound sexuality in a closed-minded town, Steve has his work cut out for him. He wasn’t really sure what he expected Eddie to do. The absolute last thing Steve expected, however, was for Eddie’s to take Steve’s outstretched hand in his own. “Apologies, my liege,” Eddie cooed in a low, dark tone, and pressed a kiss to Steve’s knuckles. Steve’s jaw dropped to the floor and his stomach did something warm and fuzzy against his will.
Steve blinked. Wait—
Eddie’s eyes were locked on his as he pressed another kiss, higher this time on the back of Steve’s hand, and Steve felt the hair on the back of his neck stick up like static. He was gradually starting to realize something about himself that he wasn’t sure he wanted to do in a room full of people.

In a smooth motion, Eddie turned Steve’s hand over in his own and pressed one final kiss to his wrist, right over where Steve’s pulse was hammering beneath his skin.

“Look at you,” preened Munson with a sardonic, downturned smile that only curved up around the edges. He leaned back in his seat with a sort of ease and inhaled through flared nostrils before he exhaled, slow and long. His grip on Steve’s waist tightened despite his composed appearance. Like he was holding himself back. “Something I can help you with, pretty boy?”
Steve swallowed and watched as Munson’s gaze flickered briefly to his throat. Fuck. He felt like he was one of those insects, pinned in place on a collector’s wall. Like he was the doe, standing in the street and pinned under a pair of headlights and on full display, bared naked and open in a way he’d never been before. It was terrifying. It was exciting.
“Pretty sure I had an appointment,” Steve said slowly, not quite recognizing his voice when it came out deeper, a little more gravelly than usual. “I mean—an interview.”
Munson made a tsking noise with his tongue. “You’re very late, Mr. Weiser.”

Steve wasn’t really all that surprised to find himself here.
He had never seen a gloryhole before. He’d chalked them up to a horny teenager’s pot at the end of the rainbow. Fantasy, and nothing else. A fat old man couldn’t squeeze down a chimney, and a guy couldn’t get his dick sucked in a public bathroom. But here it was, a small circular hole cut into the side of two adjacent stalls, as real and as terrifying as it could be.
What surprised Steve about tonight was that he wasn't sticking his dick through the hole. Instead, he found himself sitting on his heels in front of it, hands wringing anxiously in his lap as he licked his lips and waited for someone to shuffle into the other stall.
