Summary
He's curious where her friends are, why she's walking home alone on a cold Friday night- on Valentine's Day- and not getting a ride from somebody like her boyfriend. If she's not telling him, then he'll take that as answer enough.
"You need a ride?"
Every Valentine's Day at Hawkins High, students send each other carnations. It's Eddie's third senior year when he finally receives his first. It's anonymous.

“Can’t we take off our gloves to hold hands properly?”
”Eddie, it’s way too cold for that.”
Chrissy’s right, it’s bitterly cold outside. The wind is biting at their faces as they walk from his van to Family Video, and he watches as his dejected exhale forms a cloud of vapor in front of him.

Really, they shouldn’t be surprised.

“Meet me in the back parking lot after fifth, alright?”
She nods, her eyes still on his chest, biting her lip. He can see the tip of her nose getting a little red. She’s gonna start crying.
“Hey, hey,” he tilts her chin up at him, looking into her eyes, “you can wait another hour, right?”
He brings his mouth close to hers, whispering against her lips, “wanna be good for daddy, don’cha?”

Summary
1986 really was Eddie Munson's year. He graduated. Moved to Chicago. Corroded Coffin started to gain a following. He made new friends and got a cool new job.
Everything was great.
Now if he could just survive until 1987, things would be perfect.
(or the Russian Doll AU that nobody asked for)

Summary
England, 1139: the civil war between King Stephen and Empress Maud looms large, threatening to tear the country in half. For Ed and his band of traveling minstrels, however, the more pressing matter is how to survive the upcoming winter, now that they were tossed out by their latest patron. When they stumble upon a naïve pageboy looking for warriors to escort the Lady Christiana to safe haven in Wales, Ed comes up with a daring plan - pose as knights, take the job, and collect the reward. After all, how hard can it be? What Ed doesn't count on is endless battles, treacherous roads, marauding bandits, Lady Christiana's pompous fiancé, and his own growing attraction to the fair maiden herself.

Summary
At the funeral, Katara doesn’t dress in white. It causes a scandal or would do if her belly wasn’t round with the Fire Nation’s future. She doesn’t look away from the pyre, not even when the prayers tapper out, smoke rises, and the Firelord’s crown is placed in her top knot.
She kneels to receive Zuko’s crown and his child kicks, blissfully ignorant within her.
She wears black and navy robes, charcoal smeared over her eyes and forehead so that when she finally— finally— is out of the public eye and can burst into tears, she tastes salt and fire as the charcoal paste runs over her lips and stains her tongue.
