It was lunch time, Baablu had been focused on the conversation Zam and Fantst were having until the sudden change in attitude in Wemmbu caught his attention. The demon was usually loud and obnoxious, always complaining or bickering at them anytime he could. But the way he looks right now is too evident not to miss. The guy is unmoving, staring at the food in front of him blankly. He’s suspiciously quiet.
Shifting closer, he leans towards Wemmbu. “You alright, bro?”
The question catches the demon's attention, and when he meets his eyes, Baablu realizes that something’s wrong.

Summary
In which after several years of construction, the dorm building to Wemmbu's highschool is finished and his second year at school starts off away from home and in a cramped room. Because his luck is worse than his history of friendships, he gets stuck rooming with school council suck-up Mcgee, his bumass uptight sports rival, and the neon nutcase who cheats on every test.
Perhaps he can learn that they're not so bad, and that not every relationship has to involve kissing or romance. Mornings become lazy but fun, and maybe he doesn't feel so lonely anymore.

Wemmbu thought he would finally find peace. That he would spend his days with Egg and enjoy living as a normal player.
That’s until Flame and a lion hybrid he thought long gone, shows up in his base like it’s a normal Tuesday.
““Okay,” Wemmbu says with a sigh, placing Gambit right back into his hotbar.
“Okay?” Flame questions with a raised brow.”
Suddenly, old habits return far too easily: Flame yapping, Egg laughing, and Mane sitting silently at the table like he never shattered Wemmbu’s trust in the first place.
Except, Wemmbu’s body is failing him and the cracks in the glowing gem in his chest are spreading deeper.

Summary
There’s a difference in Wemmbu’s tone as he tells Egg he’s going to free him from the End. It’s a mix of acceptance and something Egg can’t quite place his finger on. He asks how, but Wemmbu just gives him a faulty smile in response.
Egg becomes the Invisible Knight after Wemmbu promises to break his bed to get him back to the overworld. An eye for an eye is what they say.

Summary
In Unstable City, there's a lot of things that exist. Hybrids of all kinds, from dogs, to demons, to blazes. It's not unique, that's for sure, as the cities surrounding it, like Lifesteal City or Strength City, have their own quirks, and their own different hybrids of creatures and humans.
One thing Unstable City has that other cities do not, however, is an angel. Angels were hunted and killed down until near extinction for their abilities, which were said that one could receive if they ate an angel's heart.
It had been centuries since anyone's seen an angel, so that myth was yet to be proven.
Eggchan is an angel.
He works at a coffee shop. He does all the shifts, every last one, since the other employees all either ran off to be heroes, or died in the crossfire of the battles. Doesn't matter to Egg though. As long as he gets paid.
Staying safe isn't too hard.
Until heroes, vigilantes and villains alike decide that the coffee shop Egg works at is a great place to get coffee.

“There's this kid I met. His name's Lomedy.” He pauses.
“He's around your age I'm pretty sure and— I'm not forcing you to be friends with him or anything.” Mane licks his lips, swallowing the lump in his throat. “But he's a nice kid. I think you'd like him too and… it would be nice knowing you had him or well- someone like him by your side through all this.”
Lomedy. Flame repeats the name in his mind. He didn't know if he was memorizing the name to actually befriend him or to purposely avoid him for the sake of annoying his brother. He didn't need Mane to be scouting out buddies for him, that's just plain embarrassing.
Maybe he'd consider it, maybe he won't.

After one specifically nasty fight lands him in court, Flame finds himself thrown into a rehabilitation center for troubled teens where he meets this stubborn kid who seems pretty adamant on trying to teach Flame how to care for plants.
