Listen, vampires can be a little weird.
Sometimes they do embarrassing things, like making friends with the people they’re supposed to try and eat or ending up in a situationship with an elf they met two centuries ago. Sometimes they do more general embarrassing things, like sprinting for their lives in the middle of the city when the sun starts to rise, or coughing their lungs out in the spice aisle of the grocery store when a kid accidentally smashes a glass container of garlic powder.

Daniel’s eyes flitted between both of his colleagues, feeling not unlike an animal being slowly backed into a corner, “I’m sorry, did you two forget we have a show that we have literally staked our collective livelihoods on?”
Merritt stepped forward, uncharacteristically serious, “No, we did not. We all know the plan backwards and forwards, same as you, which is why I’ll ask you again- what the hell was that?”
Daniel knew what they were talking about, of course. He was probably more aware of it than anyone. He hadn’t not been aware of it for one millisecond since it happened. It was practically the pink, tap-dancing elephant in the damn room.

It's really great that Roy and Trent cleaned up whatever bad blood was between them, because Ted is thrilled to have Trent around the Dogtrack. He's so happy to see how well Trent is getting along with Keeley and Rebecca. And the whole team. And even Roy. And Beard, of course. It's great. There ain't a single reason for Ted to not be over the moon about how well everyone's getting along with Trent.
