Summary
Aziraphale is insulted when his boss gets him an alpha demon slave to protect the shop and the important (classified) prophecies hidden inside. He is quite sure he can get the job done on his own-- he just needs more than this fucking flaming sword that doesn't work on other angels.
However, his superiors don't believe him that it's angels trying to get into the shop, blaming the demons instead. He ends up with the slave instead, determined to keep him outside and far away from the shop, especially when his boss says he can use the foul creature for his heats should he need him. Demons are not to be trusted, especially not in nests and vulnerable states like heats.
But-- but things slowly change and Aziraphale finds himself getting closer to the creature guarding the shop, this Crowley, who make him start to question just why their society is set up the way it is and who is really benefitting from the angels and demons being at each other's throats. Not to mention, the alphas against everyone else. Poor Aziraphale is in far more danger than he realizes, especially as he starts falling for the demon he once wanted nothing to do with.

Summary
After the world ends, Crowley is an alpha trying to pick up the pieces. Aziraphale is a beta who has been forced into being an omega by an illegal process called bitching.
He escapes the hellhole that imprisoned and forced him only to be caught by the group Crowley is with. Crowley bites him if only to keep him safe. He's seen what these alphas do to omegas and he doesn't need one more on his conscience.
Aziraphale challenges him on every turn and even tries to kill him before they strike up some kind of agreement to not be on opposite sides for once. Crowley will get Aziraphale to the city on the west coast where there's a doctor who can possibly reverse the bitching and make him a beta once more and Aziraphale will give him the pup that's growing in his belly-- Crowley's pup. He'll give him the pup and they can separate and never see each other again.
Maybe.
It's a brutal world but these two have survived the end of the world. They can survive what comes next to find their way back to each other.
