Ed has never had a birthday. Doesn’t even know when his birthday is. So Stede gives him one and writes him a card for every year he’s been alive.
And then he invites the revenge crew to Ed’s next birthday party, mainly by sending messages via seagulls, and hilarity and sweetness ensues

Summary
PART ONE- SOMEWHERE BEYOND THE SEA (present day)
Salvage diver Ed Teach and maritime archaeologist Stede Bonnet, both descendants of the originals, join forces to hunt for the wrecked ships of their ancestors. They're both keeping secrets and telling lies as they dig through the mysteries of the past to understand how the story ended. In the process, they'll find the truth in each other, and figure out the ending of their own story, too.
PART TWO- HERE BE MONSTERS (1718-1719)
In 1718, Stede never showed, and then to add insult to injury, he went and died. A heartbroken Ed drowns his grief in rum and violence, stalked by monsters, ghosts, and the British Navy. Meanwhile, Jim plots their revenge. A chance meeting with an old rival changes everything, and tips them into the hunt for a mysterious cache of treasure, where they'll find new answers about the past and the future alike.

Between them they find the final resting place of the original Stede and Blackbeard- a lighthouse on a remote island, built from The Revenge’s mast and wood.

Bucky is a highly successful cooking and lifestyle blogger, the gay New England Pioneer Woman if you will. He writes all about life in his Connecticut home with his D.H. (darling husband). Only problem? It’s all complete fiction. He actually lives in a shitty Brooklyn apartment, is single as hell, and has visited Connecticut exactly one time at the age of eight.
When his agent Sam informs him that he's been offered an exclusive sponsorship deal with Stark Media and a three book contract to go with it, Bucky's forced to fess up to Sam, who's predictably...displeased. But Sam's also convinced the deal is too good to miss—even if they have to put on a little bit of a show in order to get it.
So Tony and Pepper descend on Bucky and Sam's fake home for Christmas with a devastatingly handsome War Hero in tow, and their already complicated plan quickly gets even more complicated as Bucky finds himself falling head over heels for Steve. Can he keep it together just for the holidays? Did he ever have it together in the first place?
