Where the F*ck Is Ilya Rozanov? by LadyintheSilver

Summary
The morning Ilya Rozanov said his name, Shane Hollander left.
He told himself it was the right call. Simple was safer. Simple was the deal.
He never imagined what it would cost them.
Rozanov is dead. Or married. Or hiding. The world mourns him loudly. Shane can't mourn him at all — not to the press, not to his team, not to his own parents — because grieving out loud would mean admitting what Ilya was to him.
Years of unanswered messages. Of chasing rumours. Of wondering whether Ilya chose to disappear — or never had a choice.
But the rumours don't add up. Neither do the dates. And the more Shane tries to piece together what happened, the more terrifying the truth begins to look.
Where the fuck is Ilya Rozanov?
Heavy angst. A mystery buried beneath years of silence. And a hard-earned happy ending. Mind the tags.

Summary
“So, it turns out that when you have an Amex Black Card you can get just about anything done and done quickly. As soon as I saw your text after the game I called an air charter company and went straight from the arena to the airport. While I was heading to the airport I called the hotel, reserved the presidential suite and arranged for,“ Shane made an expansive gesture encompassing the room as a whole, “this.”
Shane had long ago come to terms with having the kind of money that made obstacles to what he wanted disappear. It helped that the vast majority of what he wanted in life was to either play hockey or fuck Ilya Rozanov. The former other people paid for. The latter, while often annoying, was, for the most part, free.

Shane Hollander doesn't wait for Ilya Rosanov to get back to Ottawa. He flies down to Tampa to put a ring on it.

Summary
During a late-night brainstorming session at the Canadian Tire Centre, Yuna Hollander and Harris Drover hatch a master plan packed with potential mayhem. Moving past traditional silent auctions, online fundraisers, and charity drives, they create a bold new concept for The Irina Foundation and Game Changers Camps that puts a completely fresh spin on philanthropy.
A media sensation. Involving the Ottawa Centaurs bench, players that aren't on the Centaurs roster, and even some Centaurs' spouses.
In the early morning hours, The Irina Foundation & Game Changers Celebrity Showdown is born. It promises to bring laughs, a few tears, and a bit of unhinged madness to television networks across North America.
The best part? It's all in the name of charity.

Summary
“What? Hollander too scared to face me?” Ilya chirps, because if he goes another minute without at least mentioning the man that has been consuming his every thought for two weeks he might go insane. He needs someone else to acknowledge his existence, his absence, to fucking tell him what’s going on so he can finally get it off his mind. It’s just a stupid mystery. That’s why it bugs him.
And then Hayden Pike looks up. Dark bruised circles under his eyes, face pale like a sheet, eyes red rimmed and puffy like he has been crying all day. The face of a man mourning.
Ilya feels like the ice might crack under him. Something’s wrong with Shane.

Set pre-Tuna melt: something has happened to Shane Hollander, but of course no one is telling his life long rival what happened.

Summary
“Hey, it’s me. Shane,” he said, his voice rough. “I... Um... I wanted to be here sooner, but they wouldn’t let me see you until now. But I’m not going anywhere. And there’s a police officer outside, so you don’t need to worry about that. You can just rest and focus on getting better, okay?”
There was no response, of course, but he felt Ilya’s fingers twitch in his. Shane raised the hand to his lips and kissed each knuckle, one by one.
“I know you’re probably worried about... People seeing us, together, like this, but...um... I’m being careful. And I told my parents we were friends, at the all stars game, and they bought it and I think if I fooled them then I can fool anyone. So you can relax about that too. I’ll worry enough for both of us.” He gave a laugh that sounded too high pitched and clamped his mouth shut. “I wish I knew who those people were. I’d make them pay for hurting you. I swear.”Or - Alexie wants more money and he knows how to get it. But he doesn't count on Ilya having someone to stand up for him, a BAMF named Shane Hollander...

Summary
“Hockey players are too intense. But you are maybe worse. I can see it on your face. But I especially can feel it on your body.”
Shane wants to be offended, but Ilya’s hands travel lower now, close enough to the hem of his briefs that circle his thighs, and it makes his breath catch. Ilya taps the fabric gently.
“Do you ever let yourself feel, Shane Hollander?”
Shane takes in another sharp breath.
“Do you ever let go?”

Summary
When it happens the puck has just left his stick.
It's a clean hit, but Shane takes it horribly, crumbling on impact and colliding with the boards. While he tries valiantly to keep his head up, he feels himself slide sideways and his last fully coherent thought occurs as his head cracks against both the ice and the bottom edge of the boards.
Immediately, the arena starts to wilt.
“… We just want a future.”
“I have only been in love with one person…”
Shane falls backwards and sinks, the ice turning to water beneath him.
“Holy shit. I love you too…”
“I love you…”
The words—memories?— are swimming amongst him, angled and distorted; they consume him, they’re are all he can process, even as someone else—a medic, maybe?— on the periphery now, says, "Just stay still Hollander."
