Junghwan's hand doesn’t leave Youngjae’s shoulder, warmth still seeping through so many layers of fabric. “Why don’t you tell him how you feel?”
Youngjae glares. “What?”
“Seems like you’ve been bottling things up for a long time…” Junghwan mutters. “I don’t know what happened, but… I don’t know. Maybe it’s not too late. If there’s things you never got to say.”
“Idiot,” Youngjae says, the word slipping out with a chuckle before he can really think about it. Luckily, all he hears from Junghwan is a scoff. His hand never leaves his shoulder. After a sniffle, Youngjae says, “Sorry. I just… I promised not to.”
It’s not exactly true. Youngjae can’t promise not to do something that was already impossible to begin with.

“Yah, Choi Youngjae. Do you already have a group for the school trip?” Dohoon waves his hand in front of Youngjae’s face, mouth smiling like he didn’t just rock Youngjae’s world by that question alone.
“What? No, I don’t have any group.” Youngjae answers. Because, of course he doesn’t have any group. He hasn’t made that many friends in the past two months. His only friend is Han Jihoon from the dance club, but he is in a different class. So when the homeroom teacher announces that they will have a three day school trip and asks them to make a group of three to five students, Youngjae sits there frozen, not knowing what to do. Except, now there is Kim Dohoon who’s asking about his group situation.
“Do you want to join mine?” Dohoon’s smile is getting even bigger, showing teeth and all.
“Me? You want me to join your group?” The wheels behind Youngjae's eyes turning impossibly slowly. Like, this is better than being the one asking to be included in a group, right?
Youngjae follows up his assessment with a quiet, “Sure?”
Or, Youngjae mysteriously got included to The Four Prince's group for their school trip. Little does he know, Shin Junghwan is the one behind it all.

When TWS's Shin Junghwan and Choi Youngjae are invited to the reality show My Dream Buddy, Junghwan's heart flutters for some reason when he sees Youngjae take care of Bom like his own daughter.
He thinks it's weird. He's never felt like this when Youngjae was always taking care of the younger members of the team.
Of course, Junghwan’s heart squeezed a little when the younger members would always joke about him and Youngjae being the parents of the group, Junghwan as the father and Youngjae as the mother.
But he would always brush it off, thinking it was just some silly joke the members like to throw around when he and Youngjae would get a little closer than usual.
So he should have the same reaction when he watches Youngjae play with Bom, right?

Summary
Something inside Gyuvin breaks when he thinks about Ricky — the best friend who has wiped vomit from his mouth, rubbed his back when he’s cried and held him whenever Gyuvin needed it — looking at him and asking the loaded question of why he’s being treated this way. Ricky, who knows this isn’t deserved, and Gyuvin, who agrees but can’t answer. If he wasn’t still reverberating with residual, misplaced anger, he would crumple in on himself and cry. His muscles are simply too rigid.
AKA: A story in which Ricky takes dick and Gyuvin doesn't take it well.

Ricky got hit after that, but they also booked their vacation. A full week, right after Christmas. New Years on a beach instead of knee deep in snow, Gyuvin could never say no to that. He can never say no to Ricky, period.
