    Friedrich ist noch keinen Monat an der Jenaer Universität angestellt, da verscherzt er sich schon mit dem arroganten Jun.-Prof. Goethe. Der erschien bei seinen Vorträgen immer als ein charismatischer Typ, aber je näher Friedrich ihn kennenlernt, desto unsympathischer findet er ihn. Ihre Diskussionen sind hitzig, ihre Gespräche angespannt, aber trotzdem kommt Friedrich nicht umhin, weiterhin mit Goethe zutun zu haben. Während ihrer gemeinsamen Arbeit stellen sie beide fest, dass ihre Interessen doch nicht so weit auseinanderliegen, wie sie ursprünglich dachten.
