Delloso de la Rue sacrifices the title of True in protection of the magic that flows to the mortal realm. K.P. Hob wallows and writhes in the doubt and distrust that follows for but a few moments, but it's enough to change the story irrevocably. It's enough to make the road to a happy ending winding and all too easy to lose track of, like all roads into Faerie must be. The new arrangement of the stars makes new constellations, and they all must learn to navigate by a new map.

Summary
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt but it's just rewriting every scene with the Wild Hunt so that it's obvious Geralt has a very involved and personal history with them, delving into some of his memories from his time riding with them and incorporating his knowledge into his plans/expectations/nightmares.
Because you can play that whole game and never be told that Geralt rode with the Wild Hunt and is entitled to call Eredin a bitch on a personal level, and I think that's bullshit. CD Projekt Red introduced this really cool concept at the end of Witcher 2 and then did The Least with it and I personally think it's time I fixed it.

It is so blatantly easy to let her spirit go out like a weak flame of a guttering candle, to let her body stop and give up, allowing her flesh to unravel into the sweet, putrid rot, so something better, simpler can one day grow from her forgotten bones when even the faint and fraying memory of her crumbles to dust like a flake of ash. It would be so easy.

Summary
After getting shot in the river and left for dead, Carpenter wakes up to find that the Trawler-man has dragged her down to his damp and shrimp-filled kingdom at last. Given the choice between taking some time to process her trauma, and tracking down her ex-god so she can kick him in the shins, Carpenter handles this situation in as healthy a manner as you'd expect.
A choose-your-own-adventure set immediately post-canon. Between anger and grief, forgiveness and catharsis, Carpenter finally gets the chance to say goodbye on her own terms.
