Yeonjun leaned in and cocked his head, an amused grin playing on his lips as he asked: “You think I’m a bottom, Soobinnie?”
Soobin frowned. “What do you mean ‘think’? Of course you are. It’s obvious.”
“Obvious, huh?” the older said, looking him up and down as if he was reconsidering Soobin for the first time. “You got my bedroom tapped or something?”
Soobin scoffed: “Don’t need to when I’ve lived with you all through uni, hyung. I know your type, I saw you take home dozens of versions of the same dude. There’s no way you topped any of them.”
He didn’t expect that to make Yeonjun giggle and shrug, but that’s exactly what the older did.
“Maybe that’s my thing,” he quipped, eyes full of mirth.

“Summon me a guardian angel? I don’t need a guardian!” Yeonjun thought back to the day when he almost got kidnapped, and the day he avoided getting stabbed with just a few centimeters, and added, “okay maybe I do need a guardian, but is it really necessary resorting to magic?”
“Do you have any other idea?” Taehyun asked.
Well, no but Yeonjun was not gonna say that.

Yeonjun doesn’t know how he gets into strange situations all the time - it just happens. He doesn’t mean to get lured into cults and accidentally arrested every other week, or to make his friends have to bail him out all the time. It gets so bad that eventually, his friends get fed up with his bad luck, and in fear for his safety they decide to summon him a guardian angel.
Only, they mess up the spell a little bit, and suddenly Yeonjun is stuck with a demon tied to his side for a month.

“You’re fucking batshit,” Yeonjun breathed, “completely fucking insane. The heat has fried your brain.”
The words felt true enough. Their living room was spinning slightly around Soobin. His temples were wet with fresh sweat and his esophagus all the way down to his stomach felt hotter than the air in their apartment. He was properly drunk and he couldn’t stand this endless heat anymore.
“I’m already naked,” Soobin shrugged, “and we’re down to our last three bottles of soju. The day isn’t even halfway done and there’s nothing to do. So. Let’s fuck.”
