Summary
“We… culinary folk, have a saying…” He pressed a gentle kiss to Will’s carotid artery, making him shiver and flinch. His breath hitched. Anger and arousal fumed in him all at once, forcing his fists to clench until his knuckles blanched.
“What is this… saying, Dr Lecter?”
He took Will’s earlobe between his teeth, giving him a gentle nip before continuing, “our saying? Fat… carries the flavor.”
Will couldn’t hold out any longer. His eyes rolled back, a soft moan escaping him, as he fell back against the doctor. Hannibal carefully held him up, steadied him, then adjusted his flannel, pulling it back down over his belly. He noted that Will was quite hard now.
“Glad to see that your circulatory system is functioning properly,” he said, smirking.
Will was silent with resentment, then he muttered, “shut up.”
“Make me.” Hannibal grazed his teeth across him. “You know you want to.”

You squirm. “Ha—Hannibal, then.”
An approving smile rewards your informality, making you blush harder, flooding heat through your core, into your fingertips and toes.
“I… I think this began… um… a couple weeks ago. I just… I dunno. I just sorta… fell for you.”
He smirks, almost cruelly, his maroon eyes dazzling under the recessed lights of the kitchen, then says, “and pray tell, my dear, what is it about me that has you so enraptured?”
“Uh…” You’re at a loss for words, as you usually are around him. Handsome, charming, funny, clever, well-dressed, kind, generous, helpful, insightful, wicked-smart… All these words float through your mind before you blurt out, “I think you’re hot.”

I’d told him, during our second or third session, that I could not cope with sex scenes in film or in television. Even if they drove the plot forward. It made me feel self-conscious, filthy, disgusting. It was because of the lack of representation.
“And they were… ‘shiny, happy people,’ as R.E.M. once put it?”
“Skinny, happy people,” I muttered.
“Not built like you?”
“They’re never built like me.”
He cocked his head again, sipped more wine. “Why do you think that is? Why do you think they always show skinny people in the movies?”
“Because society’s fucked up.” I could feel my throat tightening, like I was gonna cry.
“This is a safe space,” he reminded, leaning forward in his chair, “if you need to cry, please cry. There is no room for shame here.”
I blinked away tears and continued brokenly. “I just… I hate seeing people who all have the same body-type… I never see people like me on the screen, except for laughs and… I don’t know. I just… I fucking hate it. I wanna see more people like me in leading roles, and…” I broke off, crying.
