It's easier for Logan, talking to the ones who aren't identical to the people he knew in that other timeline, so long ago now.

It's important to remember, he tells himself - as Logan does a fucking excellent job of shucking him out of his jacket - that he wasn't expecting any of this to happen tonight. Kissing Logan wasn't on his radar. Sex wasn't even on the long range forecast. However embarrassing things might get, once Logan gets him down to his shorts, he can always claim that he was unprepared.

“You’re not.” He waited for something to happen, but nothing did, so he continued. “It’s wide enough. You can tell me about your nightmare.”
Another quiet whimper from the other room. Then, miraculously, a shuffling noise shortly followed by a pitch swath of humanoid shadow in the dark grey space of the doorframe. A tiny victory over self loathing, apparently. The negotiations that followed were done blindly and in hushed tones.
Harry's apartment is deeply fucked after his return from Martinaise. Kim is kind enough to let him stay over for a couple nights and gets hit in the face with a ton of inconvenient feelings-bricks.

After a few weeks, Logan stops reacting to the nicknames. After a few months, he kind of stops noticing. After half a year, Wade has pretty much stopped using his real name at all. And then he starts again. And Logan’s not dumb. He spots the correlation.
The moments that Wade uses his real name- well, they’re memorable.
