Grian stepped into the light of the main waiting bay. He blinked as the bright rays of the sun glared into his eyes. He took his seat and picked up a newspaper, dated yesterday, 26.9.2323.
"Grian Xelqua?" a voice called out, "for the Ares I mission?". It was the receptionist. Grian stood up, pushed his golden hair out of his black eyes that looked brown in the bright light and walked towards the Ship. Little did he know these would be his last couple of steps on Earth….
The journey to Mars was a blur in Grian's mind. It was all just light.

Henry’s chest closes up. He bites his lip, tearing off a piece of skin and chewing on it before glancing over at Lewis. Lewis is staring up at the stars. Henry doesn’t mind. It makes it easier to speak.
“Look at us,” Henry murmurs, once his voice comes back. “We both are in the eyes of the world.”

Despite it being over four years since the death of Hotguy, Scar still lives day-to-day with the damage from the incident, unable to work through the trauma from the systemic abuse of the hero committee due to his glorification of his Hotguy days. Cub, his manager and best friend, reaches out to a ghostwriter to help Scar publish a book about Hotguy and the failings of hero culture.
The ghostwriter, Grian, has been running from a painful past for the last few years, hiding himself and spinning his life into one of medial routines in a desperate attempt to feel normal again.
Perhaps together they can help solve each other's traumatic past-identity deaths.~
