Fred Weasley hated that Slytherin girl with his entire soul; Lilith Arambella was not only Severus Snape's niece, the daughter of one of the most dangerous Death Eaters to ever exist but also, the Beater in the Slytherin team and a terribly good player (nearly as good as him!). Xaden Riorson thought he had figured out how to survive in this place. Now in his final year at Basgiath War College, he’s risen to the rank of Wingleader. He is focused on one thing: getting every kid of the rebellion bonded to a dragon. Then the real work can begin.

This follows the dialogue and events of Rebecca Yarros’s Fourth Wing, retold from Xaden’s perspective. This was written prior to the release of Iron Flame, so all theories and speculation are my own and unconfirmed. It's my best guess at exploring how Xaden might have felt throughout the story and features new scenes with Liam, Garrick, Imogen, Sgaeyl and Tairn. Major plot spoilers from the very first chapter.

Her cheeks burned like wildfire as embarrassment flooded to every inch of her body.
Jet smirked. “That’s my girl.”(Katara feels hurt and betrayed after Jet blows the dam and floods the village. She wants to leave him there, plastered to the tree, but she can't. She sets Jet free, and despite the little voices arguing in her head, she goes back to his hut with him. She wants to leave remembering the Jet she knew yesterday, not the monster she met today.)

I decided to give Bella more spine. I hated how she allow Edward order her around and tell her what to do. Everything under the pretense of "her own good", like she was a stupid girl uncapable to make decisions for herself. Said that, Edward´s character is no villainized. I don´t think he is a bad person per se, just to set in his ways and he found a codependant person who allow him to get away with his already controlling personality.
And I´m big fan of Jacob. To me he was the healthier choice for her, he let her to be herself and support her in her choices, and she loved him too. The Renesme solution of SM felt too forced and really creepy to me.Bookmarked by jesLittleMouse007777
