The heat melting her brain is why she doesn't think much about the girl that approaches the concession stand, other than making a mental note of how tall she is. Long legs carry her to the front of the stand where she looks up at Seoyeon with eyes wide and mischievous in a way that reminds Seoyeon distinctly of the golden retriever her best friend Dahyun had growing up.

Summary
Dahyun's will to live had already exited the building, so what was one more thing to lose. Her mind was next and with the way everything was going at the moment she really had no idea how long she would be able to do this.
Even if Dahyun didn't really believe in a future for herself anymore, she also didn't account for all the changes that got kickstarted and a certain someone with a skateboard in their hand entering her life.
What followed next was an exploration of trauma, identity, love and rebuilding of trust that neither Dahyun or Kaede would have ever expected to happen.
It would definitely be worth it though… if she bothers to stick around that is.
