Her voice is professional but kind, likely specifically designed to put callers at ease, but Thomas still fumbles his phone in a sweaty, guilty palm and almost reflexively abandons what has to be the stupidest thing he’s ever done, because he has no clue how this all works from this end, but his desperation wins out against his better judgement.
“Uh. I want, um… That is, I’d like-” Teeth gritted. “Can I please speak to number twelve?”
OR
Thomas discovers the hot, depressingly unavailable roomate he's a little stupid over is supplementing his income by working a phone sex line from their apartment.

Summary
Alex expected Jefferson to do a lot of things after Lee's transphobic remarks towards him. He could laugh at Alex for being such a freak, laugh with Lee at how pathetic Alex looks now, or agree with Lee and make arrogant faces at Alex. Jefferson might even purposely misgender him as well. Hell, Alex could even consider the possibility that Thomas would simply stand there, doing nothing about the situation.
The one thing Alex did not expect Jefferson to do was to pull his fist back and slam it onto Lee's face.

The modern AU where they're all ostensibly studying and hunting ghosts, but mostly they're just assholes with a lot of feelings.
The stories are more-or-less ordered chronologically. I would say most of the longer ones can be read on their own, but some of the ficlets might not make a ton of sense without context. I try very hard not to start posting larger works until the whole thing is done, so there are occasionally months-long breaks that end with another 40,000 words of fic posted all at once.
Please don't be intimidated out of commenting just because the story is old, I swear to god I love comments on the older fics and cherish them all, even though I'm not always great at replying ♥
