Summary

Summary
Dream should have known.
Leaning against the wall looking as appalled as Dream felt, was 404.
Dream had never seen him so… stationary before. He had dark brown hair that Dream had always thought was black, and his bicoloured eyes stared icily at every breathing person in the room. Ghostly pale, his features were delicate and precise; his temple was marred by a faint bruise from their scuffle a few nights prior. He scowled nastily at Dream.
“Pleased to see me?” he said.
“Unless you’re dead in a ditch, I am never going to be pleased to see you,”
or: Beloved superhero Dream and mysterious vigilante 404 have been going after the same criminals and fighting each other in the process for two years. When 404 randomly shows up at Heroes Inc and agrees to be part of the mission to kill the notorious villain The Piper, Dream and George have to begrudgingly work together. When George's past turns out to be far more connected to this mission than either of them realised, everything starts to change.
