After being informed that Aizawa has been called away to take care of Eri before he has the chance to check in with the man, the former number one learned more about a particular voice hero than he ever dared hope. When he comes face to face with the man himself looking completely worse for wear following the mornings events, the retired pro takes it upon himself to get to the root of Yamada's pain and show him that no matter what it takes he will make him believe that he isnt alone, learning along the way just how much they really have in common with eachother.

“C’mere.” Hizashi’s voice also catches in the wind, almost floating over Shouta’s head.
The rest of their lunch is spent with Shouta’s head leaned up against Hizashi’s shoulder. No other words are spoken other than soft whispers, Hizashi asking Shouta if he’s comfortable or if he should adjust. Shouta always says no. Hand in hand, Hizashi traces mindless shapes into the back of Shouta’s hand, trailing his slim fingers up to knuckles, rubbing in between the joints. It’s a quiet plea of tranquility, a query where Shouta asks Hizashi if it’s okay for him to fall to pieces a little more before he has to pick himself back up.
Still, Shouta can’t help but scan the rooftops for the silhouette of a taller boy with fluffy hair and a smile so brilliant that it somehow even brightens Shouta’s day. Somehow, Hizashi catches onto his silent pleas and runs a hand through Shouta’s unkempt hair, slowly untangling some of the knots with his fingers.

He’s about to open his door to go to the shared bathroom on this floor when he notices the scrap of paper that’s been pushed under his door. It’s a salmon-colored flashcard, the type that’s sold in 500-packs with multiple colors. Bakugou stoops to retrieve it, frowning at the message he finds written on it.
Hey neighbor, welcome to the house! I heard you knocking things around, yesterday, and I think you maybe punched a wall? Anyway, the landlady gets pissy if you put holes in the wall, but I have a punching bag! You can come over and use it, or I can move it into the hall, if you want!
There’s only one other bedroom on the fourth floor. Now, Bakugou crosses the hall to the bedroom on the right side, slamming the post-it note against the door.
Fuck off and die, it reads.
Bakugou Katsuki is not going to jeopardize his future a second time, and that means staying away from anyone who gets too close. Kirishima Eijirou has never learned how not to be close to someone. Of course, they end up as next-door neighbors.

Summary

After graduating, Aizawa Shouta rented a broken down basement apartment, threw his heart away, and shut everyone out. Then he reconnected with Hizashi, who managed to reach his missing heart, and everything came tumbling down.
For two years, Shouta thought he was fine. But for those two years, Shouta was just spiraling further and further down. One thing became clear: Shouta couldn't take care of himself and the problems he always had were just becoming more apparent. Shouta never understood himself and he always knew that there was something wrong, but that was never so obvious as it was now. After seeing his rundown apartment, Hizashi has him move in so he can help him understand himself and both he and Shouta start on the long journey of sorting everything out—from the mess inside Shouta's head to the lost relationship they once had, bit by bit.
