Khaslana realizes that the woman is still waiting for his answer. “...Not really,” he coughs awkwardly. He should really let go of her and give her some space, but she feels so right in his arms. She’s also shivering a little, clearly leaning into his elevated body temperature.
Abruptly, he asks her, “What’s your name?” In an absent-minded gesture, he tucks a stray lock of hair behind her ear.
She blinks, then opens her mouth.
What follows is the name that Khaslana will hold onto forever, for the next cycle, and the next, and the next. He will never forget it. In his darkest moments, he clings to it like a panacea and like the stardust he vowed to hold in his hands when he was just a young boy - staring up from the wheat fields of Aedes Elysiae into the vast expanse of the sky.
“My name is [reader].”
In the 108,463rd Eternal Recurrence, one of Khaslana’s prayers is finally answered. What follows is hope, absolute despair, and everything in between. But no matter what - he will see it through to the bitter end.

“But as a nickname,” he says cheekily, the mirth in his voice compelling you to face him again. “Stars seem to suit you. They’re a light in the darkness, brilliant and warm. But so far out of reach.” A large hand comes up to tuck a stray lock of hair behind your ear. “But if you reach out, and if you’re very, very lucky…one might come to you and fall into your hands. Like a shooting star.”
For a second, you can only stare at Phainon. The heat from his hand ghosts across your cheek as his fingers still at your temple.
How could you have ever imagined his eyes as empty? When they look at you, they sparkle like the clear blue sky. A faint smile tugs at his lips. He looks…at peace, for the first time in ages.
Then you have to ruin it by opening your dumb mouth. “Are you flirting with me?”
Your whole life is uprooted at a young age thanks to the threat of Black Tide, leaving you floundering. When you meet Phainon, he gives you stability, love, and kindness.
It's absolutely perfect - until it isn't.

Summary
There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.
