Summary
'I mean for you to finish your task, Mister Frodo, and I mean to finish it with you. And you cannot do that if you are lying broken somewhere on the side of the road.'
'Sam-'
'I have no interest in the saving of this world, Mister Frodo, if I can't save you with it.'
Samwise Gamgee cared not for weilding great weapons, overthrowing great cities, or fighting great battles. So when the One Ring tempted him, it tempted him with the thing he did care about- more than anything else in the world.
(In which Sam notices just how much of a hold the Ring has over Frodo, and makes him take a break from carrying it- but nobody is immune to the thrall of the Ring, not even Samwise the Brave. Based on both film and book universe, but mostly inspired by Tolkien's style of prose. Sam's character is probably more consistent with how it is in the book, as well as the master/servant dynamic. I hope you enjoy!)

CURTAINCALLLL!!! Yes, this is the first work that contains Curtaincall as a ship. The relationship tag doesn't even exist yet!
-----------
Black Sapphire was never the person to chase love. Not even consider it as a part of his life. It was just nonexistent. While being the pawn and servant of Shadow Milk and rarely seeing other cookies outside of his duties, he simply didn't have any reason to get involved in what cookies called romance.Until a certain shadow approached him.

Summary

Summary
“Why are you here?” Till asks. He means it to sound scathing, but it comes out as jagged as a dull knife. It’s been a long day, or maybe a short day; Till has no grasp on time, or his surroundings for that matter, and he can feel that there’s still blood all over his face and probably spit and dirt and it’s objectively nasty, and scary, and… Ivan doesn’t budge.
He just looks at him with that look. The weird, blank one. “Sometimes, you are the one who asks stupid questions,” Ivan says.
Till can’t figure Ivan out. Still, Ivan’s kindness, albeit weird, is something Till can’t help but be drawn to.

Summary
Completely ignoring everything he said, “You’ve heard about me?” I reply, slowly finding myself getting lost in his electric teal eyes.
He simply scoffs, “Don’t act so surprised. I’ve been here two days and have already heard everything there is to know about “Mr. Perfect Ivan”. You wanna know what I think? Being on the football team, being student council president and making girls swoon doesn’t make you “perfect”. Nobody is, especially you. You’re far from it.” This time he successfully slams the door in my face without my arm stopping him.All I can think to do is stand there in awe. Part of me wants to melt into a puddle and become one with the pavement because this boy is immune to the reputation I’ve worked so hard to uphold. Though another part of me senses my cheeks flushing and my heart beating irregularly.
Wow Till, you really are quite interesting.OR...
Ivan is an A+ student who gets all the girls, he's perfect. While Till is frankly the opposite... Ivan's existence is enough to infuriate Till, while Till fascinates Ivan in a way nobody ever has before.

Summary
Chishiya wasn’t entirely sure as to why he’d offered his assistance to the tiresome dad other than a desire to end the screaming and allow him a few hours of rest before his 10-hour shift the following morning.
He wasn’t exactly fond of babies or toddlers, and his patients rarely dipped below age 5. Still, little Akemi had seemed to calm so easily in his arms, not 5 minutes of being held and rocked before she quieted, curious black eyes so much like her father's studying him. Sure, on an objective level she was a rather cute baby, but it didn’t explain the way he softened at her every coo.
Or
Chishiya finds himself entangled with Arisu and his adorable daughter, not exactly prepared for the commitment.

“What’d you say red tulips are for again?” Avery asks, voice a little too small to be asking casually.
“In general, love,” D3rlord replies, voice too quiet as well.
Love.
It’s something Avery hasn’t really bothered himself with. He hasn’t thought of it a lot. He’s seats been too busy thinking of what’s his next breakfast or how to totally pwn noobs instead of something as fuzzy and abstract as love. D3rlord, however, has completely flipped that balance for him.

“Soon we met. Out of fear, I took things into my own hands… and, you listened.”
“Why?”
Avery shifts.
“I don’t know.”
