Summary
Peter forgets about the AcaDec's field trip to Stark Industries, because of course he does. On a normal day he might not have forgotten, but it hasn't been a normal day. Peter and Tony had spent most of the night trying to escape from a poorly executed kidnapping attempt, only to return to the tower and be caught by Peter's friends and teammates, looking battered and bruised.
“So... is Peter like, your sidekick, Mr. Stark?"
Tony smirks. “Yeah… something like that."
Peter- is- mortified.

Summary
After Peter's precarious position goes from bad to worse time and time again, he is left all alone with nothing but his anger and resentment at the world to keep him company. He wonders how much more he can take and whether the growing grudge between him and the Avengers will be enough to finish him off for good. Will he be able to complete his mission in time? Does he even want to anymore?
Of course. He is Spider-Man and he has a job to do. And he'll do it even if it kills him. For everyone else's sake.

Bookmarker's Notes
This is the most perfect thing I’ve ever read. Chapters 60-74 literally broke me I was crying so hard 🤧
This took me like 3 days to finish. 230k words mind you. My screentime for today (I read like Chapters 40-end) is 20 mins on TikTok and 6 hrs on here. I don’t have any regrets.
Steven Wescott can go fuck himself. That bastard better stay in prison.

(...and one time he’s stuck alone.)
“I wonder if Pepper’s reported me missing yet,” Tony says, with an exaggerated sigh. “I wonder if this is some kind of scheme to kidnap me or something.”
“I think the ride’s just broken,” Peter says.
“Today of all goddamn days,” Tony says, exasperation clear in his voice and in his eyes. “Ruining our trip—”
“It’s not ruined,” Peter says. “Look, we’re hanging out."
“Real quality time,” Tony huffs. “Us, a few other trapped members of the general public, and a handful of animatronic pirates. Drunk pirates. Repeating themselves.”

Summary
Homecoming AU.
Ben and May divorced before Peter’s parents died, so when Ben is murdered Peter goes into foster care. It takes just a tiny taste of superpowers for Peter to decide he doesn’t want to put up with his horrible foster father anymore—the streets are infinitely more appealing. All he wants is to be Spider-Man anyway.
So he leaves.
Simple.
Simple, that is, until Iron Man needs Spider-Man’s help. Peter isn’t about to turn down an opportunity to fight alongside Tony Freaking Stark, but he also isn’t going to let his hero know that his recruit is a fifteen-year-old homeless dropout. So they strike a deal. Peter will help Tony. In return, the mask stays on.
And that’s when things get complicated.
