HOLY FREAKING SMOKES. I got recommended this fanfic off of Tik Tok and I am unbelievably glad that I chose to read this, at the beginning I was a little worried this would be like those aus where only something is different about the mc and the rest of the storyline throughout it all is the same, THATS NOT WHAT HAPPENED AT FREAKING ALL.
God, this fic figuratively makes my head spin with how many side plots we have to get to, like Triton and Percy finally talking, Percy and POSEIDON finally talking, Dionysus and Percy finally addressing the Unsolved Mysteries comment, Medusa and Percy’s thing because WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED THERE (though I literally adore your take on medusas story, honestly your take on most of the gods because the way you weave your characters in this left me awe struck) LITERALLY EVERYTHING PERCY HAS EVER SAID AROUND HIS FRIENDS. Literally I just want to sit them all in a room and make them SEE what’s going on in this boys life so they can UNDERSTAND what’s going on, Christ

The thing about plastic chairs is that they weren't a great substitute for an actual bed; the other thing is, Robert can't exactly afford to be picky and even if he 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 the internal debate is still ongoing as to whether or not he deserves a mattress at this current point in his life.
So, the plastic chair stays and is staying for the foreseeable future. Besides, it's charming - in a depressing, minimalism-that-is-totally-not-a-reflection-of-his-inner-sense-of-worth way.

In my opinion this is one of the BEST Tim Drake fanfictions out there, if not THE best, seriously I love the dynamics that the author managed to weave together, nothing was forced whenever characters interacted and most of the dynamics ARE FUN AS HELL? Not saying all because of Dick and Bruce but… oh well
I HIGHLY recommend this fic to people, I love reading how Tim grows throughout the fic, and all of the characters surrounding him (Jason, Damian, reluctantly Dick and Time)
Speaking of Time, even when Tim and him were fighting it felt very much like sibling behaviour, one of my all time favourite lines were from the first three or four chapters
“What was that actors name again? Champagne?”
“No you imbecile it’s Champion😒”
“… It’s Chalamet.”

And Tim has so much he wants to change, so much he wants. He wants to feel important to Bruce. He wants to be Dick's favorite. He wants Jason (his childhood hero) to think he's cool. He wants Damian to need him. And really, is it manipulation if his family benefits from it?
Or: He was halfway through the second trash can, when a startled “Good lord” caught him off guard. Tim glanced up, the rhythmic sucking of his pacifier coming to a still at the sight of a black Rolls Royce idling at the side road that lead to Wayne Manor. Alfred was staring at him from the over the car top, aghast. “Master Bruce, it’s not a raccoon.”
