Summary
Al-Haitham’s grandmother made a deal with the stars to give him a second chance of life. He didn't think much of it at first.
But he entered the Akadeymia and saw Kaveh, who shone like the sun, and realized he made a strong miscalculation.
When the sun cried and yelled that he wished he never knew him, Al-Haitham accepted he would die young.
.Al-Haitham is cursed to turn into a star on his thirtieth birthday unless he confesses his love. It’s not as easy as it seems to be.

Summary
They’ve had what Kaveh calls the ‘fungus conversation’ several times now. It started as a joke about the architect somehow devolving into a fungus, but Kaveh insisted on bringing it up again every so often, repeatedly claiming that at least he would be a fungus with empathy.
Meanwhile Alhaitham, presumably, would not.
Kaveh’s insistence on this point seems strange, not least of all because Alhaitham thought he knew him better than that.
Alhaitham is turned into a tiny fungus. It is not an ideal situation.

Summary
“Do you mean to tell me,” Kaveh hisses. “That I got hit by a ley line and got cat ears?”
“Lion ears,” Alhaitham corrects, dispelling the mirror. He seems remarkably unfazed by all of this, blinking curiously at Kaveh’s new appendages. “You seem to be in possession of a tail as well.”
A ley line accident leaves Alhaitham and Kaveh with snow leopard and lion features, respectively. As they wait for the effects to (hopefully) wear off, they realize the ley line might have had some effects that go beyond changes to their physical appearance...
In other words, Alhaitham figures out he can purr, but only when Kaveh is touching him. Cuddling for purely scientific reasons (and totally nothing more) ensues.
