One of the most beautiful fics I've ever had the pleasure of beta reading. Tragic and bittersweet, Aegis brings an authentic, realistic balance around handling grief through Sage's eyes. Though there is heartache and familial rifts and an empire to wrangle, Sage learns important lessons, makes a new friend and grows into her own.
An absolute must-read. ❤️
