Summary
Reki came up with two conclusions:
ONE—that he could very much be delusional, but the ‘time travel’ theory was more than likely to be true;
TWO—Langa would not die a second time. Reki would make sure of it.
After Hasegawa Langa’s mysterious death in December, Reki finds himself thrust back to April—eight months into the past—before he can figure out how, when, or why.
In a cruel race against fate, Reki has to fight tooth and nail for Langa to survive an otherwise guaranteed end.
Problem? Reki has no idea how he died in the first place.

(POST FIGHT)
Reki and Langa finally made up, but they never properly understood eachother. Reki's jealousy still lingers, his self-hatred didn't disappear, all these emotions Reki thought would go away after making up with Langa stayed and maybe even got worse. Resulting in Reki using unhealthy coping mechanisms to cope with his feelings.
Langa is falling in love with Reki, while Reki experiences his messy emotions.
It doesn't take long before everyone else begins to notice the crack in Reki's facade. Reki is now a hollow shell of what he used to be— happy and bright. Reki just can't seem to do it anymore, will anyone save him? Can he save himself?
In which: Reki goes through jealousy and depression and uses unhealthy coping methods, the people around him begin to notice and worry about him. They all desperately want to help him, but again, Reki self sabotages. He pushes them away because he doesn't know what to do when they get too close— when they see how vulnerable he is. So now what does he do when they don't leave after he pushes them away?

Out of nowhere, Langa asks Reki out--and then runs away before Reki can answer.

Langa and Reki are both gay disasters and Reki has to spend an entire day tracking his future boyfriend down, receiving very small amounts of help from a wide array of friends on the way.

Summary
“Hey, you know how band-aids were invented?” Reki asks, smoothing the bandage down and Langa wonders if he can feel how flushed and hot his face is, if he knows.
Langa shakes his head.
“Some old dude made ‘em for his wife,” Reki continues “Guess she was super clumsy in the kitchen - like you - so she cut herself a bunch.”
“I’m not clumsy,” Langa says petulantly.
Reki levels him with a look, then. “Yeah? Then what’re we calling that time you tripped over the curb and ran face-first into a telephone pole? Interpretive dance?”
Langa frowns. He’d tripped over that curb because Reki was talking about a new idea for a deck, something about painting the surface and then cutting designs into the grip tape so you could see the colors shine through and Langa was focused on the way Reki’s scratched and bandaged hands were flitting about as he spoke, alive like the butterflies surging in Langa’s stomach and he hadn’t seen the curb until it was too late because his eyes were too full of Reki to notice anything else.

“So, I have to look after the girls until mom's back,” Reki explains tiredly, absently batting Chihiro’s fingers away as she tries to stick them up his nose. Nanaka is wrapping herself around his leg like some kind of parasite, watching Langa closely.
“I can stay and help if you want,” Langa says, causing Reki’s tired eyes to immediately light up. Langa can’t help but smile softly as he sees the peachy blush prickle its way across Reki’s cheeks. He shakes his head.
“Nah, man, you don’t want to spend all day looking after my little sisters,” Reki immediately refuses. Langa shrugs.
“Maybe not. But I want to hang out with you,” he says, honestly.

Reki shivered, debating for the millionth time if this was a good idea or not. Honestly, he didn’t want to do this, but his back felt like it was against the wall. He wiped his mouth off and knocked, leaning into the doorframe. It was late, but he could still see the lights on. He shivers, trying to force himself to smile, but he can only manage a grimace as Joe opens the door.
“Too late to get some dinner?” Reki asked, trying to joke.
Before Joe could even think through what he was seeing, Reki collapsed in the doorway of Sia La Luce. Whatever doubts he had, it was too late to turn back now.
