Summary
Louis wakes up mouthing at the skin of Lestat's throat.
His fangs feel heavy in his mouth and when he swallows reflexively they slightly graze Lestat's skin, drawing the tiniest pinpricks of blood. Shame burns his throat and sloshes around hot and thick in a stomach where only Lestat's blood should be—that's what Lestat had told him as much the first night after he was turned anyway, remembering the soft rumbling in his ear and the long line of heat against Louis' back and the hand over Louis' belly that would occasionally flex and tighten as they fed or fucked.
Louis, Lestat, and two mornings in a marriage.
